We spent Sunday up to the Dam celebrating Mike's & Matt's birthday {sans Matt}. Got the good beach spot with some big shade trees and tons of ants! Everything I brought home had ants in it; but, on the positive side, the smart people didn't get as sunburned.
Connor tried out his new ankles on the rope swing;
Weston had sand in
his hair, his eyes, his nose, his mouth - I can only imagine what his bum looked like after a day of sitting in it!
Laila and Taylor were getting accustomed to the water by the end of the day.
Heidi & Heather were trying their hand at water trapeze or water ballet or something!
The wind kicked up pretty good around 2:30 and I kept trying to get Mike to put his traction kite up in the air; but he was afraid it would dump in the lake and be hard to pull back in. . .so we flew Shari. All in all, it was fun!
THANKS TO MIKE AND SHARI for once again getting up so dang early to get the good beach area!

yes, i would also like to know where this is... I love that big tube. I keep telling Kyle and Kari that is more my style, less dangerous.
