One week ago today, Grnma-Great went out to water her yard, and then go in to get ready for Church. Today we have Hospice checking in on her daily, and we are doing all we can to keep her comfortable as we wait for her to pass. She suffered a major stroke in the same area of her brain that she had one 10 years ago; and looking at scans, the doctors could see where she has had many minor strokes. We are all coming to terms that these are the last days of her life, and are remembering all the many acts of love and kindness she has shown...not just for family, but for anyone she came in contact with. We love you.
Grnma-G loves these little greats!!

Love and best wishes, prayers and concern to your whole family. Grandma-Great is a very special person, a very special lady.
Sue, I'm so sorry. I wish I could be there to hold her hand, and yours! Grandma fell and broke her arm and they can't cast it; she's going to be strapped into a sling for the next six weeks. Old age is not for sissies, is it? Please give Faye my love.
That which causes us trials shall yield us triumph: and that which make our hearts ache shall fill us with gladness. The only true happiness is to learn, to advance, and to improve: which could not happen unless we had commence with error, ignorance, and imperfection. We must pass through the darkness, to reach the light.”
Albert Pike
Thinking of you all as you go through this journey with Edith.
I'm so sorry, Sue. I hope it is peaceful.
Gramma will be missed. I'll always try to remember her and her beautiful spirit. What a lady.
